Whether you're struggling in life, battling addictions or simply wrestling for motivation, there is no need to fight the battle alone. Rebuild is built for men just like you. For men who are experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar or other mental illnesses, and for guys who could just use a bit of extra support and motivation in life. We don't simply sit around and talk about life's problems we aim to practically help you through them.
How? We form a network of men who work together at group members' homes on yard work and handy man jobs. This means we'll come to your place and help you with all those difficult or unpleasant jobs, and you join in when we go and help out other group members. But it's not just about getting a job done - it's about sharing experiences with men you can trust and relate to. Men who will be able to support you through the difficult days.
Rebuild currently has one group meeting on Saturday mornings in Brisbane's south-west suburbs. Click here for contact details.
A day in the life of Rebuild
Whether we're cutting down palm trees or laying concrete slabs the Rebuild guys always have a great time. To find out more of what we do go to our blog page.
Rebuild Initiatives
Sponsored projects
Rebuild is redirecting some of the money it received under the Federal Government's Explorer 2011 Small Grants Program towards helping people in the community. If you have some yardwork that needs doing, Rebuild may be able to contribute up to $100 towards it. Please
In order to promote Rebuild among local GPs and also to recognise the important role doctors play in the onging management of mental health, Rebuild is planning a "Dob in your doctor" campaign. Nominate your doctor and they could be in the running to receive a small garden makeover by the Rebuild team worth up to $200. See the events page for more details.
